How do I report a transcript error?
Long-press the sentence, tap Report a problem, choose the type of error and add an optional note. Reports help us improve transcripts.

If you spot a mistake in a transcript, you can report it right from the sentence. It only takes a few seconds and helps make transcripts better for everyone.
Report a problem
- While viewing the transcript, long-press the sentence with the problem.
- Tap Report a problem.
- Choose what’s wrong:
- Wrong words: a word or phrase doesn’t match the audio.
- Out of sync: the highlight is ahead of or behind the audio.
- Wrong speaker: the line is credited to the wrong person.
- Missing part: some speech isn’t in the transcript.
- Add a note if you like, for example the correct word.
- Send the report.

Timing problems are often caused by ads that are inserted into the episode dynamically. Using Resync usually fixes them right away. See Why is the transcript out of sync?
What happens next
We use reports to find and fix problems and to improve automatic transcripts over time. We can’t reply to each report individually, but every one is read.
