What data does Podling collect, and why?
Podling uses your account details, learning activity and, for speaking features, your voice to run the app. We don’t use advertising cookies.

We collect the information we need to run Podling and help you learn. Here’s a plain-language overview. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
What we use
- Account details: how you sign in (Apple, Google or email) and the native language you choose.
- Learning activity: things like your word bank, study progress, daily goal and streak, so they’re saved to your account.
- Voice: when you use AI Talk or shadowing, your audio is processed to transcribe and respond. See How is my voice data used?
- Community content: comments and ratings you post on episodes and shows.
- Transcript reports: any problem reports and notes you send us.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Podling doesn’t receive your card details.
Cookies on our website
- We use analytics cookies on the website only if you consent.
- We don’t use advertising cookies.
Your choices
- You can delete your AI Talk conversation history in the app.
